INGREDIENTS: reduced vegetable stock [water, onion, white wine vinegar, parsley, tarragon, thyme, white pepper, bay leaf], butter (milk), canola oil, egg yolk powder, modified tapioca starch 3 1442, thickener E415, lemon purée, white wine, salt, colour E160a.
One of the basic sauces in culinary arts is Hollandaise sauce. The rich flavour of this bright yellow sauce is achieved by reducing vegetable stock and white wine, along with careful preparation of egg yolks, butter, and lemon.
Hollandaise is probably best known as a topping for Eggs Benedict, but it is also delicious with steamed vegetables or with all kinds of fish and seafood.
