Coleslaw Salad
Refreshing salad for all occasions

Ingredients:
- 1 cabbage - cut in stripes
- 2 big carrots - grated
- 1/2 middle sized onion - finely grated
- 180g mayonnaise
- 2 spoons of sour cream
- 2 spoons of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of cellery seed salt
- 1 spoon of yellow mustard seed powder
- 4 spoons of apple or wine vinegar
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Preparation:
- cut the cabbage into half-a-centimeter-wide stripes
- grate the carrots
- mix the finely grated onions, mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar, celery salt, mustard seeds, and vinegar in a separate bowl
- mix the vegetables and the sauce well together and add salt and pepper to taste.
For a more visually appealing salad, add some red cabbage and the green parts of spring onions.
The Americans made it popular because they eat it on all occasions as a classic salad, as a side dish with various meat and grilled dishes, but also add it to the hamburger, so that with the expansion of fast food restaurants it became popular here too.
