Pai Mu Tan or Bai Mudan is the most famous type of white Tea. Historically, it was the most favourite drink of the Chinese rulers, and nowadays it has more and more fans every day worldwide.
The type of tea tree called Chaicha or Narcissus grows in Fujian province, and is also known by the name "White Peony".
After picking, the leaves and flowers are dried in the sun or in closed rooms without additional use of machines. The leafs have several shades of green in various structures, it is voluminous, and its tips are oblong, silver in color.
The infusion has a bright amber color and its taste is full, flowery and elegantly spicy.
The same leaves can be used 2-3 times with slightly longer soaking.
