Arachis hypogaea or Wasabia japonica
Crunchy peanuts in dough with a wasabi flavor provide an unforgettable taste of Asia. Wasabi, or Japanese horseradish, is a plant with a flavor and aroma similar to horseradish but with a much more complex and spicy taste.
Wasabi translates to "mountain hollyhock" and primarily grows in cold mountain streams in Japan. After peeling, the root reveals a pale green fruit that can be grated, dried, or turned into powder. Make a paste from dried wasabi powder by adding a little soy sauce.
If you're a fan of peanuts and spicy flavors, this is the perfect snack for you!
