Argentinian blend of vegetables and spices for grilled dishes, roasted potatoes, sauces, marinades, and salads.
Chimichurri is a famous South American sauce. This sauce is primarily associated with grilling and marinating food.
CHIMICHURRI MARINADE
To prepare the marinade, mix equal parts of olive oil and red wine vinegar, and stir in Harissa chimichurri blend to taste. Let it sit for a few hours (preferably overnight) to allow the flavors to meld. Season with salt and raw brown sugar if desired.
CHIMICHURRI SAUCE
To make chimichurri sauce for serving with grilled food, mix two tablespoons each of oil, vinegar, and Harissa chimichurri seasoning, and add enough water to achieve the desired consistency. Bring to a brief boil. Optionally, you can add tomatoes and fresh peppers cut into thin strips. Serve the sauce cold.
GOOD for grilling, meat dishes, marinades, salads, dips.
